Pastor arrested for allegedly recording women in church bathroom in Phoenix

A Valley pastor is behind bars tonight accused of recording women in the church bathroom.

Police say the recordings happened in late October and early November and only came to light after the camera fell out of a dryer.

The church, Casa de Adoracion, is located near 27th Avenue and McDowell.

Arturo Laguna is listed as a pastor on the church Facebook page and he is the one accused of the perverted activities.

We went to the South Phoenix house where the arrest was made on Nov. 6.

The woman who cracked open the door told us she had nothing to say.

The police report says plenty.

What they're saying

It claims that a camera was found in the women’s bathroom inside the strip mall church.

A woman said it fell out of a dryer while she was changing her baby’s diaper.

Detectives obtained a screenshot showing Arturo Laguna fixing the camera in the bathroom.

And when police interviewed Laguna they say he admitted putting up the camera in October.

Detectives scanned the camera's SD card and say they found four short videos of adult females using the bathroom.
