Netflix outage reported by users during Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight

Thousands of Netflix members reported issues accessing the service on streaming devices Friday during the highly anticipated boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.

Error reports for Netflix began to spike at around 7:30 p.m. ET on Downdetector, an internet monitoring service. There were more than 14,500 error reports for Netflix as of 8:55 p.m. ET, according to Downdetector.

The majority of consumers indicated that the apps were experiencing video-streaming problems. Some users cited a server connection or login issues. 

FOX Television Stations reached out to Netflix for information. Netflix did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
