What we know:

While car values can be defined in a number of ways, iSeeCars.com’s report found that buyers seeking the longest vehicle lifespan at the lowest price should look no further than the Honda Civic for best new car value.

Overall, Toyota had four models on iSeeCars’ "Most Reliable New Cars for the Money" list, followed by Honda with three vehicles. Mazda and Nissan had two models each on the list, while Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, and Subaru each had one model. The longer warranty coverage from car brands like Hyundai, Kia, and Mitsubishi was also noted in the report "for buyers seeking long-term peace of mind."
