Monsoon 2015: east valley hit by thunderstorm

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Maricopa County Tuesday evening.

The storm traveled through the east valley bringing rain and strong winds.

A large tree fell at an LDS church near Cooper and Guadalupe, no one was injured.

Many of our Facebook fans posted photos of damage in front of their homes and in their neighborhoods.
