Massage therapist sentenced to prison for four counts of sex crimes

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. - An east Valley massage therapist was sentenced to five years in prison for sexually abusing female clients.
Raul Ochoa, 47, worked as a freelance massage therapist at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Queen Creek and El Bella Day Spa in Gilbert where female victims said he committed multiple sexual offenses.
The offenses were committed between May 2022 and February 2023.

Gilbert massage therapist accused of sex crimes
A man working as a massage therapist in Gilbert has been arrested for allegedly committing sex crimes.
Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell commended the victims for coming forward to help bring Ochoa to justice.
"This defendant took advantage of these women who had placed their trust in him," said Mitchell. "This case highlights the bravery of the survivors who came forward to ensure that justice was served, and that this perpetrator could no longer harm others."
The victims said the incidents left them with emotional and psychological scars.
These are the charges Ochoa pleaded guilty to:
- Attempt to Commit Sexual Assault, 1 count - felony
- Sexual Abuse, 2 counts - felony
- Assault with Sexual Motivation, 1 count - misdemeanor
