Maricopa County Animal Care and Control gives update on fate of seriously injured husky puppy
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Officials with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control said on Sunday that it is not known whether an injured Husky puppy that was brought to them Friday will keep its eyesight.
According to MCACC officials on Saturday, the puppy had its skull severely bashed in, and was taken to the Phoenix Dog Cat Bird Hospital.
According to officials on Sunday, the Husky's condition is worse than expected, because of the severity of his skull injury. The puppy is still sedated, and it will be some time before it will be known for sure what is wrong with the dog.
MCACC officials also said people can donate to either the "Two Pups Wellness Fund" or the "Arizona Animal Rescue Mission" to help with medical expenses.
