Man seriously hurt after being stabbed near Phoenix canal, police say
PHOENIX - A man was found in Phoenix who had been badly stabbed on Wednesday night, the police department said.
Police responded to the area of 16th Street and Indian School Road for reports of an assault. There they found a man who was seriously hurt after being stabbed, said Sgt. Andy Williams.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
"Officers are on scene now speaking to witnesses and looking for evidence of what led up to the altercation," Williams said.
