Man killed in west Phoenix shooting, police say
PHOENIX - Phoenix Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on Wednesday night.
The shooting happened near 67th and Campbell avenues.
"Officers located a male victim outside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition," police said.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Alfonso Holguin died at the hospital.
"Detectives processed the scene for evidence and spoke to witnesses," Sgt. Andy Williams said on Oct. 21. "It is unknown what led up to the shooting at this time."
