Man arrested for kidnapping 75-year-old woman after her 67-year-old boyfriend was found dead
COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. - A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly kidnapping in Cochise County.
It started with a woman who reported being kidnapped on Friday, Jan. 3.
Cochise County deputies say a 75-year-old woman called around 8:10 p.m., saying she had been kidnapped by a man later identified as 37-year-old Rynn Prairie-Rocca.
The kidnapping happened near Catclaw Road and Highway 181 in Pearce, Ariz.
She was taken in his car and later managed to escape when he stopped at a Dollar General.

Police went to her home and found her 67-year-old boyfriend had been killed.
That led them to another home where Prairie-Rocca was barricaded.
He was eventually taken into custody.
No motive has been shared.
