Loop 202 crash in Phoenix kills a person, injures another after SUV rolls over
PHOENIX - A person is dead following a rollover crash on southbound Loop 202 in Phoenix, says the Arizona Department of Public Safety on Tuesday night.
The crash happened near Southern Avenue around 5:30 p.m. A white SUV rolled over and landed on its roof, killing the driver.
Southbound traffic nearing the crash was impacted, but lanes have reopened.
The person who died hasn't been identified. Investigators have not said what caused the driver to lose control.
