It appears both X and Reddit have been restored after tens of thousands of people reported an outage or glitches on Thursday, according to Downdetector.

At one point, over 15,800 people were having issues with X and over 34,900 people reported outages on Reddit.

Some users were met with a red bar error message at the top of their Reddit accounts on Thursday, while others were met with a blank page that read, "This page isn't working."

And though thousands have also reported issues with X, users took to the app to ask if anyone else was having issues with either or both social media platforms.

What we know:

Reddit Status on X reported it had implemented a "fix" and that it was "monitoring the results."

What they're saying:

"My whole internet is acting really weird. Reddit is down, and now Twitter is acting so slow," one user wrote on X.

What they're saying:

Users who were still able to use the app flocked to X to report that while posts on their "For you" tab were working fine, they were unable to see any posts on their "Following" tab.

Other users said the app was running slow for them, but otherwise was working fine.

What we don't know:

So far, neither platform has revealed what caused the issue.

Reddit is "investigating" its issue, according to its status website.

FOX TV Stations has reached out to Reddit and X for comment.
