1 hospitalized after several people exposed to white powder in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz. - One person was hospitalized after several people were exposed to a white powder in Tempe on July 11.

The incident happened at the Tempe Municipal Court building, located near 5th Street and Forest Avenue.

Four people were exposed to the powder, which tested negative for hazardous materials.

One person was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

City officials say 5th Street was shut down between Mill Avenue and Forest during the investigation.
