Former substitute teacher arrested on child porn charges

JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. - A former substitute teacher was charged with 66 counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Ernest Shaw, 65, was arrested this week after investigators received a tip that he was in the possession of child porn.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said deputies confiscated an abundance of child pornography from multiple devices.

Both the Jackson and Banks County School Systems said they have removed Shaw from their approved substitute teachers list.
