Florida woman kicked off JetBlue flight after profanity-laced tirade
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (FOX 13) - A woman was kicked off her flight at a South Florida airport after she threw a fit over being sat next to a child.
The woman, identified as 32-year-old Valerie Gonzalez, started cursing and yelling before the JetBlue flight's departure to Las Vegas Thursday night.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Gonzalez yelled out that she did not want to sit next to a 3-year-old child because she had been drinking all day.
The situation escalated after she demanded to switch seats with another passenger, who refused to move.
Gonzalez cursed at fellow passengers, and eventually the flight crew ordered her to get off of the plane, WSVN reports.
"I'll take my [expletives]. [Expletive] all y'all. My mom's gonna be so proud of me tomorrow. I don't give a [expletive]," Gonzalez could be heard saying in the video.
As she left the plane, Gonzalez allegedly shoved a JetBlue employee.
She shouted "Vegas, baby! Vegas! I'll be there in an hour," but ended up behind bars instead.
Gonzalez was charged with one count of touch or strike battery and appeared in court Friday morning. She was released after posting bond.
