Firefighters battle strip mall fire

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Phoenix Fire crews were on the scene of a strip mall fire in the area of 17th avenue and Camelback early Sunday morning.

The 911 calls came in at 2:30 a.m. with reports of fire coming from the roof. Firefighters encountered heavy smoke pouring from the business. battled the blaze that seemed to have started in the back of the OK Nail supply store.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to other businesses and nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
