DEA agents involved in shooting with suspect in Glendale
GLENDALE, Ariz. - A shooting involving Drug Enforcement Administration agents and a suspect is under investigation in Glendale.
The shooting happened on Dec. 11 near 43rd and Peoria Avenues.
Glendale Police say DEA agents were conducting "a law enforcement action" when the shooting occurred.

It's unknown if the suspect or any agents were hurt.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the shooting.

Wednesday's shooting was the second involving DEA agents in the Valley in less than a month.
In November, agents shot a man who they were attempting to arrest in the parking lot of a Walgreens near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road.
No agents were hurt. The suspect died at the hospital. Two other people were arrested in connection to the incident.
DPS is also handling the investigation of this shooting.
