Dairy Queen's 85-cent Blizzard deal is here – how to get one

MINNEAPOLIS - Dairy Queen is celebrating its 85th birthday with a special offer for fans.
The fast-food chain, known for its soft-serve ice cream and Blizzard treats, is running the deal now through next month.

What we know:
Customers who visit their local DQ between March 24 and April 6, 2025, can get an 85-cent small Blizzard – which comes in a variety of flavors. The offer is available in the DQ Mobile App for DQ Rewards members with a purchase of $1 or more.

Dairy Queen said the offer must be redeemed via the DQ Rewards deal to receive the offer, and deals may take 24 hours to appear in the app.
Last week, the company offered a free small ice cream cone on the first day of spring.

"We figured what better way to celebrate this milestone than by giving our fans even more reason to indulge in their favorite flavors by offering them an 85-cent Blizzard."

International Dairy Queen Inc., is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The first Dairy Queen opened in Joliet, Illinois, in 1940. Today, there are 7,700 DQ restaurants in more than 20 countries, according to its website. The Dilly Bar was introduced in 1955, and fans didn’t meet the beloved Blizzard Treat until 1985.
