This expensive Bugatti has a bizarre steering wheel

Bugatti revealed its latest luxury sports car with an exceptional design and one-of-a-kind steering wheel in its interior. 

The Bugatti Tourbillon is the latest vehicle from the French luxury car manufacturer and is named after a watchmaking invention made by a Swiss-born "genius" living in France in 1801.

This hybrid sports car is priced at $4 million and is in its testing phase, with customer deliveries available in 2026. The automaker is only making 250 models of the vehicle.

Consisting of over 600 parts and built from titanium and gemstones like sapphire and ruby, the Tourbillon has a unique steering wheel with an instrument cluster inside that stays fixed when the wheel is turned, known as a "fixed hub steering wheel."

One of the features is the center console, a combination of crystal glass and aluminum displaying the detailed working of the switches and the engine start "pull" lever.

According to a Bugatti release, the glass was developed over 13 separate stages to guarantee it is clear, strong, and safe in the event of an accident. 

The car has a top speed of 227 mph and has two electric motors and a digital screen hidden from view until the touchscreen appears from the center console.
