Queen Creek 3-year-old pulled from a pool dies
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Queen Creek 3-year-old who was pulled from a pool on Dec. 30 and died on Jan. 7.
QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. - A child has died after he was pulled from a backyard swimming pool in Queen Creek.
On Dec. 30, a 3-year-old boy was pulled from a pool at a home near Riggs and Sossaman Roads. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
It's unknown how long the boy was underwater.
The boy died at the hospital on Jan. 7, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said. He was not identified.
The child's death is being investigated by MCSO's homicide unit.
