Homewatch CareGivers celebrate Veterans Day
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Homewatch CareGivers honored their clients who served in the past with a Veterans Day celebration.
Bar North at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale is the place to honor and remember our veterans this week.
"I enlisted in the army in 1963, the control where I was stationed it was right at the height of the Vietnam War so I wound up stationed on in Virginia, real rough out there," said Bob Fisher.
The stories are what make this group so rich with wisdom, courage and bravery.
"As a veteran myself I know that it means a lot to be recognized by the companies by the public for the services they provided to our country," said Susan West.
The group is all clients of Homewatch CareGivers, one of the leading providers of home care services to the elderly and disabled throughout Maricopa County.
"We just wanted to honor them, these are wonderful people they've done incredible service for our country they deserve our utmost respect," said Dan Fern with Homewatch CareGivers.
Some of these heroes are in their 80s, some in their 90s. They've lived through World War II, the Vietnam War and so many other conflicts.
"It's a lot of reminiscing a lot of where you were when were you in there is a lot of comradery."
