Man accused of shooting QT security worker in Phoenix
Tarrance Sykes, 27, allegedly opened fire at a QuikTrip near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road on April 10. A security worker was seriously injured in the shooting. Sykes is accused of aggravated assault.
PHOENIX - A suspect has been arrested after a shooting at a QuikTrip gas station in Phoenix left a man seriously hurt.
What we know:
According to Phoenix Police, officers responded to the QT, near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road, at around 9:40 p.m. on April 10 and found a man with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
A few days later, the suspect in the shooting, 27-year-old Tarrance Sykes, was found in Wickenburg and taken into custody.

According to court documents, Sykes told police the victim pushed him at the QuikTrip before he pulled out a gun and shot him.
Sykes said he shaved his head after the shooting and wore a wig to change his appearance.
"People were telling him to leave so he went to Wickenburg Arizona," court documents read.
