Amazon delivery truck stolen; woman arrested by Phoenix Police
PHOENIX - An Amazon delivery truck was stolen in Phoenix and the woman who allegedly stole it was arrested.
The Phoenix Police Department says on Dec. 21 at around 4 p.m., a delivery driver called police to report his vehicle was stolen.
"Once officers got the initial information about the vehicle, they began to check the neighborhoods. Officers were able to locate the vehicle near 89th Avenue and McDowell Road," Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower said.
The suspect, Salina Duran, 31, apparently wouldn't pull over for officers. Police say she was finally arrested after she stopped the delivery truck and ran from it near I-10 and 91st Avenue.
Officers say at no point was there a pursuit.
Duran is accused of theft of means of transportation and unlawful flight from law enforcement. She's being held on a $50,100 bond.
