33 Springs Fire: Over 1,200 acres burned in Coconino County

A wildfire continues to burn in Coconino County, causing campers and homeowners to evacuate. The 33 Springs Fire, which started Friday, has spread to over 1,200 acres.

Nearly 100 firefighters are battling the blaze and officials are warning people in the area to evacuate immediately. According to Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, some homes and structures are potentially threatened.

The fire is located northwest of Forest Lakes in Leonard Canyon.

At last check, the wildfire is zero percent contained.

Officials believe the fire was caused by lightning.
