3 critically injured after Loop 202 crash in Phoenix

Six vehicles involved in Loop 202 crash

Three men are in critical condition after a crash on Loop 202 near 24th Street on Wednesday.

PHOENIX - A six-vehicle crash on Loop 202 in Phoenix sent three people to the hospital Wednesday morning.

The collision happened in the westbound lanes of the freeway near 24th Street at around 9:30 a.m.

Firefighters treated a total of four patients, and three of them - ages 24, 35 and 70 - sustained critical injuries.

The Arizona Dept. of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the crash.
