PHOENIX - Two people are dead and another person is hurt following a shooting in Phoenix on Sunday night, police say.
At around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 17, Phoenix Police responded to reports of a shooting at a home near Southern and Central Avenues. When officers got to the scene, they found two people lying next to a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Jovanni Burciaga, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene. Mario Banegas, 16, was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Police say a third victim showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim, identified only as an adult male, is expected to survive.

Man, teen die after being shot in Phoenix
Two people are dead and another person is hurt following a shooting in Phoenix on Sunday night, police say.
Investigators believe Burciaga and Banegas drove to the home where the shooting occurred and were shot "during an exchange of gunfire." The third victim was also shot while at the home.
No suspect information has been released.
Police are working to learn more about what led up to this shooting.
