14-year-old accused of killing aunt in Sun Lakes, will be charged as an adult

SUN LAKES, Ariz. (FOX 10) - Authorities say Wednesday a 14-year-old boy will be charged as an adult, in connection with the death of his aunt in Sun Lakes.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, 42-year-old Tonya Harper was killed when she was stabbed in the neck on the morning of February 1 at a home near Chandler Heights and Alma School Roads.

Authorities have identified the suspect as Ares Adle. A judge has set a cash-only bond of $1 million for Adle, and he is scheduled for another court appearance on February 11.
