1 dead, 2 hurt in Phoenix triple shooting

A triple shooting late Sunday night in Phoenix left a man dead and two other men hurt.

The shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 5 near 27th and Glenrosa Avenues.

"When officers arrived, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds. The fire department responded and rushed two of the men to the hospital with life-threatening injuries," police said.

The third man died at the scene, and he was identified as Willie Harvey, 39. The two surviving victims are in critical condition, police say.

"Officers learned the suspects involved in the shooting left before police arrived," Sgt. Phil Krynsky said.
