Man wearing 'Michael Myers' mask shoots 2 in Manhattan
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A man wearing a 'Michael Myers' Halloween mask shot a man three times and a girl one time as Halloween festivities were wrapping up in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan early Thursday morning, said police.
The 21-year-old male victim was struck in the abdomen, chest and leg. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
The 17-year-old female victim was hit in the abdomen and taken to NY Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
There was a verbal dispute prior to the shooting at 2 a.m. in front of 610 West 163rd St., according to police.
The gunman fled the scene. He is described by cops as 6 feet tall and wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.
The mask was similar to the one worn by the character 'Michael Myers' in the 'Halloween' slasher movies.
