Glendale Police: 15-year-old boy accidentally shot by teenage friend
GLENDALE, Ariz. - An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was shot in a west Valley neighborhood and police believe the shooting may have been accidental.
This happened Tuesday night in a neighborhood near Loop 101 and 67th Avenue, and what led up to the shooting is unclear.
"Upon arrival, officers discovered a juvenile male had accidentally shot another juvenile male who was transported to a local valley hospital with life threatening injuries," stated Detective Tom Sye of the Glendale Police Department.
On Wednesday, police stated the boy had died.

Police say the other male in this case is 15 years old.
There are no outstanding suspects and no names have been released.
