PHOENIX - We broke a heat record in the Valley on Wednesday, and we may do it again on Thursday.

On Dec. 18, Phoenix hit 83°F, breaking the previous record of 79°F that was set in 1950.

On Thursday, we reached a high of 82°F in Phoenix, which broke the previous record of 79°F that was set in 1917.
