PHOENIX - Our cold snap continues!
Temperatures will continue to run below average on Tuesday. After a morning of lows in the 30s in the Valley and single digits in the High Country, afternoon temperatures will rose to 66° in Phoenix and 30s to the low 40s in northern Arizona.
It will be breezy in the High Country, too. Gusts of 20-25 mph are forecast for spots like Flagstaff.
The pattern will help to increase winds into Wednesday. Gusts of 20-25 mph are forecast for Phoenix and up to around 30 mph in northern Arizona.
Overnight lows will fall to the 30s in the Valley again with an official low forecast at 40 degrees for Sky Harbor.
Beginning tomorrow, high temperatures will start to climb. The high is expected to hit the low 70s in Phoenix on Wednesday. By Thursday, the forecast high is around 75 degrees. The more mild air will not last.
Friday is forecast to slump back into the upper 60s with the middle 60s forecast over the weekend and into early next week.
Unfortunately, the forecast still looks quite dry. There is a low chance of an isolated shower from Thursday night into early Friday for northeastern Arizona.
Otherwise, the next several days look quiet and mostly sunny.
