Teens struck by lightning as monsoon storm batters the Valley

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- El Mirage police say two boys were struck by lightning at Moreno Park as a monsoon storm battered the Valley on Wednesday. In a phone interview with Sgt. Robert Peoples on FOX 10 News at 9, Sgt. Peoples said both 14-year-olds, who were taken to the hospital, are in stable condition as of Wednesday night.
