Boy shot in head after he and friend were 'messing around' with gun

Police say a 13-year-old boy is in extremely critical condition after being shot in the head while he and a friend were "messing around with a handgun." According to the Glendale Police Department, the boy and his friend were playing with a gun at an apartment near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road when the gun fired, striking the boy in the head.
