TSMC provides update on Phoenix expansion plans

In an earnings call, TSMC said its second computer chip manufacturing plant, or "fab," has opened ahead of schedule, according to a report from Phoenix business journals. TSMC is also planning another $100 billion expansion that will bring their total to six "fabs" and one artificial intelligence research facility in north Phoenix.
