Chad Daybell's defense paints him as victim in murder case

Chad Daybell’s defense attorney John Prior painted the self-proclaimed doomsday prophet as a victim of convicted murder Lori Vallow and her late brother Alex Cox. During closing arguments, Prior said there was reasonable doubt in the triple murder case and asked the jury to return a verdict of “not guilty.”
