Arizona grad student guilty of professor's murder

A former University of Arizona graduate student was convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a hydrology professor on campus in 2022 following his expulsion. The student, identified as Dervish, was also found guilty of five additional felony charges, including aggravated assault for a bullet that grazed a building manager.
