11-year-old girl nearly drowns in Phoenix

The near-drowning happened at a home near 15th Street and Osborn Road. Phoenix Police say the girl was swimming with friends when she went underwater and her hair got caught on an underwater pool fixture. The girl was rushed to a hospital where she remains in critical condition. Investigators say there were no signs of foul play in the incident.
