Man detained after Phoenix hit-and-run crash

Phoenix Police say the collision happened near 43rd and Maryland Avenues. After the crash, a man with a gun fled the area. A witness tried to follow the man and directed officers to his location, where he was detained. The suspect was hospitalized with minor injuries. The other driver was not hurt.
