Scrap yard fire breaks out in Phoenix

Firefighters battled a fire at a scrap yard Thursday night near 35th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from a large pile of scrap. Crews were able to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
