Hiker dies on Spur Cross trail near Cave Creek, others rescued

Just before 1:30 p.m., deputies and firefighters responded to reports of hikers experiencing heat exhaustion at the Spur Cross Trailhead. That's where they found several other people, one of them died and others were rescued.
