Police use pepper balls to get woman out of stolen semi in Phoenix
A standoff came to an end Thursday when police officers use pepper balls to get a woman out of a stolen semi-truck. Phoenix Police say the semi was stolen from a business near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road at around 4 p.m. on March 10. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers stopped the truck on Interstate 10 near 16th Street, but the woman behind the wheel refused to get out. Officers eventually used the pepper balls to get her out of the truck and into custody. The woman's identity was not released.
