A new report is projecting billions of dollars in merchandise returns for 2024. The report, which came from the National Retail Federation, states that retailers are projecting 17% of their merchandise sales will be sent back by customers, which is up from 2023.

Dog reunited with owner after pet transporter lost him

After a month on the run, a dog was found after a pet transporter lost the pooch in Mesa. The owner of the dog says she feels disrespected by what happened, and the transporter says the dog wouldn't cooperate while in the process of being transported to another state. Polygamist sect leader sentenced to 50 years in prison

A polygamist religious leader who claimed more than 20 spiritual “wives" including 10 underage girls was sentenced to 50 years in prison on Monday for coercing girls as young as 9 years old to submit to criminal sex acts with him and other adults, and for scheming to kidnap them from protective custody.

Accused serial rapist makes court appearance

Accused serial rapist James Estep was back in court on Dec. 9 for a continuation of his evidentiary hearing. Estep is accused in a half dozen sexual assault cases in the Valley between September 2018 and August of this year. Estep is due back in court on Jan. 7.
