FCI Dublin: Special master finds 'cascade of failures' at women's prison

A federal court-appointed “special master" found that the medical care, investigations into sex abuse reports, unnecessary disciplinary measures, lack of programming and classes, as well as the hasty transfer of 605 incarcerated women at FCI Dublin were a “cascade of failures." 

Judge slams BOP for trying to dismiss FCI Dublin case; grills deputy director

A federal judge on Friday slammed lawyers for the Bureau of Prisons for trying to dismiss a lawsuit over sexual abuse and retaliation at the now-shuttered FCI Dublin, while she also grilled the deputy director of the federal prison system, who flew in from Washington, D.C. to Oakland for the hearing.  

California's Park Fire scorches more than 300,000 acres

A wildfire burning in California is exploding in size as it tears through communities in the northern part of the state. The Park Fire started last Wednesday when authorities say a man set a car on fire and pushed it into a ditch. The more than 360,000-acre fire has burned several dozen homes and buildings. FOX's Rowena Shaddox has more.
