Kamala Harris visiting AZ to address abortion rights

Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Tucson on April 12 as part of her "Fight for Reproductive Freedoms" tour. She will also visit California and Michigan. Harris' visit comes after the Arizona Supreme Court issued a ruling that will implement a near-total ban on abortions in the state.

Tucson officer killed in crash was laid to rest

Hundreds looked on as final honors were given to a Tucson police officer died while responding to a call for service. The officer was killed when another vehicle failed to yield at an intersection and crashed into his car.

Mexico can proceed with lawsuit against AZ gun shops

The 2022 lawsuit claims the shops played a role in the trafficking of guns and ammunition to drug cartels across the border. Two of the gun shops named in the lawsuit are in Phoenix, and the other three are in Tucson.

Border latest: Tucson releases new migrant numbers

New numbers were released on Sunday that show more migrant crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border. The data shows nearly 11,000 migrants were apprehended in the Tucson sector alone. That's about 3,000 more than the same time last year. The border chief says there were 210 federal criminal cases.

Man robbed Tucson hikers at gunpoint: sheriff

The Pima County Sheriff's Department says 37-year-old Jesse Guinane held up the victims near McCain Loop at Tucson Mountain Park last January. Guinane was arrested and is accused of armed robbery and burglary. Investigators say they recovered stolen property belonging to the victims.
