The life-saving work of medical professionals at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix is being highlighted during National Donate A Life Month. The hospital helps save the lives of many people with its transplant services, from patients living out-of-state, to those in Arizona who are among an often underserved population. Here are their stories.

Ruffs to Riches program gives shelter dogs free grooming

Rescue dogs from LovePup Rescue in Scottsdale got a much-needed makeover at Oh My Dog Boutique on April 26. Over the years, at least 100 rescue dogs got groomed through the program, including some taken from hoarding situations. FOX 10's Irene Snyder has more on how this program helps them get adopted.

Community Cares: Special event to raise money for Scottsdale hospital's NICU

The NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea serves thousands of families a year by caring for babies born prematurely, or babies that need extra medical attention. On May 3, a special event is set to take place to raise money for the department. FOX 10's Anita Roman has more, in this week's edition of Community Cares.
