SkyFOX video over the scene on May 24 showed several cars almost stacked on top of each other near Central Avenue and Indian School Road.

Investigators learned Doan was in a relationship with a woman whose ex-boyfriend, 26-year-old Rene Penaloza, had allegedly threatened Doan in the past.

A Phoenix Police officer has been released from the hospital days after he was brutally attacked by a suspect, the department said.

The driver of the SUV, 31-year-old Ramon Aaknes, died from his injuries at the scene. He reportedly had driven into oncoming traffic when he collided with the truck.

Ten students reported feeling ill, but none were hospitalized.

Phoenix-area fire crews were called to a building near Central Avenue and Clarendon at around 9 a.m. on Jan. 1 and saw smoke coming from the 16th floor.

Hundreds convened in midtown Phoenix to show support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine, marching alongside those who were born there and still have family in the country. "Right now they hear a lot of bombings around, people are hiding in shelters, so it’s a very, very scary situation."

The collision happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11. A car going southbound was turning left on 7th Avenue when it hit a car heading northbound, police said.

The land used to be the site of a grocery store, but has been a parking lot in recent years.

The Prayer of St. Francis mural reflected the diversity and hope of the Coronado neighborhood near 16th Street and Thomas Road. Its creator died a decade ago, and now, two local artists are teaming up to restore it. FOX 10's Linda Williams reports.
