Preston Lord: The Brass Tap raising money for teen's family

A Gilbert restaurant is helping out the family of a victim of teen violence by holding a fundraiser in honor of Preston Lord. Lord's death last fall after being beaten at a Halloween party in Queen Creek has shined light on teen violence cases in the Valley. The Brass Tap, located at Recker and Williams Field Roads, is donating 25% of today's revenue to Lord's family.

2 more teens arrested in Gilbert for alleged assault

Gilbert Police announced more arrests related to teen violence, specifically, the Aug. 18 assault of a 16-year-old near the In-N-Out at Williams Field Road and Market Street. 19-year-old Deleon Haynes and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested. Four others have been previously arrested in this case.

Teen violence: Gilbert PD arrest 17 year old

Gilbert Police say the teenage suspect was involved in the beating of a teenager outside of a home in November 2022 near Higley and Riggs Roads. Last week, police arrested 18-year-old Kyler Renner in connection to the assault.

iPhone feature saves veteran’s life in Gilbert crash

The iPhone's "crash detection" feature seemingly saved the life of a recently retired Air Force veteran after he got into a crash in a Gilbert intersection while riding his motorcycle. FOX 10's Lindsey Ragas has more.
