Suspects sought in Buckeye shooting
The shooting happened on May 18 near Verrado Way and Yuma Road. One man was shot in the hand, and the suspects remain at large. Police say a 2011-14 Dodge Charger was seen leaving the scene. If you have any information, you're asked to call police at 623-349-6411.

All five high schools within the Agua Fria Union High School District now have a weapon detection system in place. The district serves students in parts of the West Valley, and officials say students, as well as staff members, must pass through the detectors in order to get on campus.
Driver crashes SUV into Buckeye transformer station
The crash, which happened on April 30 near Palo Verde and Baseline Roads, left more than 1,000 people without power. Police say the driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Impairment may have been a factor in the crash.
