Power outage shuts down Valley Metro service

Stations between 12th Street and Washington, and Veterans Way and College Avenue were down on Oct. 2 due to a power outage, Valley Metro said. Shuttles were being used to move riders along stations.

A first look at Boeing door plug that popped off mid-flight

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is giving us a look at the door plug that was blown out of a Boeing plane mid-flight. In January, passengers onboard an Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 experienced an emergency landing when a door plug popped off shortly after take off. It was later found in the backyard of a Portland, Oregon home.

Delta flight cancellations investigated by feds

U.S. DOT is investigating Delta Air Lines for flight cancellations stemming from a worldwide outage caused by a faulty software update. Secretary Pete Buttigieg said the agency is probing Delta to ensure it's "following the law and taking care of its passengers during continued widespread disruptions."
