Proposed bill could give harsher stolen valor punishments

Veterans at the Arizona Capitol are standing up for their service and are supporting a new bill that could bring tougher penalties for stolen valor. HB 2030 would make it a crime to impersonate a veteran to get employment, contracts or benefits awarded to U.S. service men and women. The bill would make it a felony to use fake claims for political gain.
